Please read this email carefully for important information for our international applicants. Information on the application process for international students can be found by visiting us at http://home.fredonia.edu/internationaladmissions/international-first-year-and-transfer-student-applicants STEP ONE: Complete the online application, you may use either the SUNY or the Common Application. After your application is received our Assistant Director of Admissions, Jessica Gatto, will email you and let you know what items we need to complete your application. STEP TWO: We ask that you submit the following: Official academic transcripts translated in English Test scores - TOEFL or IELTS or SAT* Financial data with supporting documentation - if I20 is required for F1 student visa Copy of passport - if I20 is required for F1 student visa Submit audition or portfolio if you are interested in a program within Music, Theatre, Art or Dance. IMPORTANT NOTES: International students must be able to document $32,000 in order to be eligible for the I20 for the F1 student visa Scholarships are available! Our largest scholarship is $8,000 renewable every year for a total of $32,000. You do not need to fill out a second application, we will use your application information to determine what you are eligible for and notify you at the time of acceptance. Although we make every effort to keep your costs as low as possible, there is no full scholarship at this point in time. Fredonia is rolling admissions so there is no official deadline however we would recommend that, if you do require an I20 for an F1 visa, that your application is submitted and complete at least 2 months prior to the start of the semester. We require a TOEFL score of 79, IELTS score of 6.5 or SAT Verbal score of 480 in order to be considered for full admission. If you do not have a test score or your test score does not meet our minimum requirement you may still be eligible for conditional admissions through our on campus EC English Language Centre. This would allow you to live on campus and take English courses until your proficiency meets our required minimum. For more information please visit us at http://home.fredonia.edu/ec-english Visit our campus!
