Please review the information provided below, if this information answers your query, or if your enquiry is covered by information on our webpages, we will not respond to your email directly. We aim to respond to all other queries within 10 working days. The Graduate Admissions Office receives approximately 20,000 applications each year and over 1,000 email queries a week, so please allow time for your query to be dealt with. We are very sorry but we are unable to provide status updates on your application, neither are we able to give updates on the status of your funding application. You will receive any update that we are able to provide via your applicant portal or self- service account. Please continue to check your portal and self-service account regularly. We kindly request that you do not submit duplicate e-mails during this period, as this may delay our response to your message. Please note that it is advisable for you to meet your offer conditions as soon as possible. If you require a Tier 4 visa to come to Cambridge you should note that we cannot issue the CAS required from the University to support your visa application until you have met ALL the conditions of your offer and your offer has been confirmed. Applicants should also be aware that many colleges will not offer accommodation until all offer conditions have been met. The Graduate Admissions Office will begin issuing CAS numbers from 4th June 2018. Please allow a 5 working day turnaround from the confirmation of your offer for us to issue your CAS. If you are waiting for a formal offer of admission from the Board of Graduate Studies please be aware that we currently have a 5 working day turnaround time for processing degree committee recommendations. All successful applicants will be notified. If you are not notified, then you should assume you were unsuccessful. The funding bodies will contact applicants directly to let them know if they have been successful. For The Cambridge Trusts, this will be between late April and early July. For Gates Cambridge, this will be early February for U.S. applicants and late March for all other eligible applicants.
