Please follow the general guidelines below. The Fest will go on rain or shine. No refunds shall be given. While some have requested shade , shade is scar c e. We recommend that you bring a pop - up or umbrella . Upon Arrival, a ll vend ors must register in the Amvet Parking Lot. GPS Address: 5 South St., Hudson MA . During Set - up, South St. will be one - way (W to E). Volunteers (yellow vests), will help vendors locate their site. Most will park in the Calare Lot, and trailers must be unhitched. Vendor Spaces are pre - assigned. Changes will not be made until after 9: 30 am. Set - up is from 6 : 4 5 to 8: 25 am . There will be no coffee or breakfast items sold during set - up. However, there are some cafes within easy walking distance. From 8: 30 am to 3:30 pm , South St. will be closed to all thro ugh traffic . All vendors must be at the ir site, with their car removed by 8: 25 am . Unless there are issues of public safety, early breakdown is not allowed. Those that breakdown early will be purged from both the Hudson and Maynard Festival lists. Please be prepared to manage your site for the duration of the event. Any vendor offering food/beverages must be permitted by the Boa rd of Health. If you plan to offer any consumable, and did not indicate t his on your application, let us know, ASAP. At present, Vendor S pace is SOLD OUT . A waiting l ist has been created . You need to bring your own table and chairs (if you need to rent them , call Robinsons Rental at 978.562.7316). No vendor will be allowed to sell any type of toy weapon , silly string, stink bombs, snappers , or colored hair spray. Festival Manag ement retains the right to remove p roduct s that pose a public safety issue and/or contribute s to graffiti . In all cases, common sense shall prevail. No electricity is available . There are plenty of us who are just getting started or who are "in the middle" of our own journey with mastering money. I'm here to tell you that getting ahead financially takes time; even for a well-educated, financially-nerdy, entrepreneur-oriented guy like me. It took me until my late 20s before I could fully wrap my head around (and act upon) some of the core concepts of personal finance. I'm still learning new things and setting new goals. It really is a process. What is "Getting Ahead"? Obviously we're each going to have our own definition of what it means to get ahead financially. To use a cliche, personal finance is personal. But generally, I think getting ahead comes down to a few things. 1. An awareness of where you are and where you want to be (i.e. establishing some type of goal). 2. Seeing progress towards those goals. This could be reducing your credit card debts, increasing your emergency savings, setting up life insurance, or any number of things. 3. Having the ability to fast-forward that progress, either through wise spending, increased income, or both. 4. Developing a confidence in your ability to maintain your progress and, probably more importantly, not end up back where you started.
