I called the number which Warren provided me, they directed me to Live Chat and Live Chat, they directed me here. I am trying to close my free hotmail account, not tied to any paid products. Email: *Removed for security purposes*. Each time I tried closing the account, an error message prompts on my screen as below; "The account you're trying to close is part of a managed domain You need to contact the domain's administrator to close this Microsoft account." Attached below is my conversation with "Warren" from Microsoft Customer Support and "Lovely" from Live Chat Support. Your customer service team member's, they are really nice peoples. But I am not getting my issue resolved here. Help me out. Ken_Rey_C. replied on May 19, 2014 Microsoft Forum Moderator Hello, Welcome to Microsoft Community! To start with, sorry for the late response. I understand that you want to close your Microsoft account. After reviewing your concern, it would be more helpful if you will create a private support request on this link. This is a new secure online form for issues regarding Microsoft account. Take note to choose the appropriate link for your query. When you close your Microsoft account, you can no longer use that account to sign in to Microsoft products and services. Therefore, closing your account can potentially affect a lot of the other apps and services you use. For this reason, even when you decide to close your account we don't do so immediately. Instead, we mark your account for closure, and give you a 60-day waiting period in case you change your mind. In addition, please be informed that the Microsoft Account forum on Microsoft Community had already retired and posting on the said link will direct you to Moderators that can handle your concern directly. Since you will be creating a private support request on the link provided, I will be locking this thread. These are Freelance Positions, displayed in French for practical reasons. Expenses reimbursed when travelling abroad. Ideally, our candidate(s) is based in Paris. 80%. Immediate start. Comprehensive Full Time from 6 to 9 months for 2 candidates or 12 to 18 if 1 candidate. There's a great project extension possibility in other countries, worldwide. Interested? Thanks to forward us a COVER LETTER and your updated RESUME (in FRENCH), respecting the requested TEMPLATE 1 application format from our website, mentioning the 393 reference. Please send a unique / central file. Only complete applications, strictly answering to the expected criteria, will be addressed. If no answer was given to you after a period of 10 days, please consider your application as not selected.
